The Puppy KONG Teething Stick, made with KONG's special teething rubber formula, is the perfect solution for the teething pup and promotes good chewing behavior. It's been exclusively designed for a puppy's mouth and can smooth sore gums as they loose their baby teeth.
The Puppy KONG Teething Stick is designed with patented Denta-Ridges that reduce plaque and food debris while providing a gentle, abrasive cleaning and conditioning of teeth and gums.
It also promotes good chewing behavior. The Dental Stick makes a great fetch toy and when stuffed with treats or pastes, works great to initiate play sessions. Once your puppy's adult teeth are in (usually 6-9 months), discontinue the use of the Puppy KONG Dental Stick and begin using adult toys that are built stronger and offer more resistance.

RECIPES FOR KONG FILLINGSFruit Salad
Apple and carrot chunks
1/4 of a banana
Place apples and carrots in KONG toy. Mush the bananas in large hole to hold fruit in place. You can include other fruits and veggies: orange slices, peach and/or nectarine chunks, celery sticks, broccoli and/or cauliflower, tomato and black olive mixture. You can also freeze your KONG with the ingredients in it so it will offer your puppy some pain relief when they're teething and to increase the amount of time it takes for your puppy to lick all of the goodies out of their KONG.
Simple, Tried and True
Smear a small amount of peanut butter inside the cavity of your KONG toy. It's that easy!
Important Safety Information from the Kong Company
NO DOG TOY IS INDESTRUCTIBLE! Kongs are safe, beneficial toys designed by people who know and love dogs. Supervise the use of all toys. FREQUENTLY INSPECT THE CLEAN TOY UNDER A BRIGHT LIGHT. Look for damage (e.g., missing pieces, cracks, separations). Flex the dry toy and inspect it from different angles. LOOSE PIECES LARGER THAN A FOOD NUGGET CAN BE HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED. WORN OR DAMAGED KONGS MUST BE REPLACED PROMPTLY TO MAINTAIN SAFE PLAY FOR YOUR PUPPY! If you think your puppy has swallowed a toy fragment (for example, if the toy was damaged and you cannot find every piece larger than a food nugget) promptly inform your veterinarian. NOTE: If your puppy destroys a Puppy KONG in a short period of time, it is probably too small. We recommend upsizing to a larger Puppy KONG.
Precautions: Puppy KONG should not be given to puppies before they are weaned. If you have a multiple dog home, take extra care to keep large dogs away from smaller dogs toys.
