Description
Artist: Margaret Coble is an urban folk artist and crafter living and working in New Orleans, LA who is obsessed with stencilling. For the past five years, she's been making funky wall clocks out of recycled vinyl records on which she spray paint stencils various original pop-culture themed designs. Those same designs often make their way onto canvases, paper prints, t-shirts, scrap wood and even recycled metal baking pans - basically anything she can get her hands on. Here's what she says about her dog stencil clock: "Though I've thought of myself as a cat person most of my adult life, I grew up with dogs all during my childhood, and didn't realize how much I missed having a dog around until I moved in several years ago with my partner, Fae, and her sweet beagle-terrier mix, Darla. I've long done cat-themed designs, but I thought it was high time to start working on some dog designs, which have been in demand over the years. This is the first of what I'm sure will be many more. Stay tuned!" More of her work can be found on her website artbymags.com.Dog Stencil Clock - Folk Art from New Orleans: Each design is individually stenciled on a recycled vinyl record to make a one-of-a-kind clock that reminds you that it's always dog time. Size: 12" - The size of a record (LP)
