The Mega Chuckit! Ball Launcher is for the large (3") Chuckit! Balls. It is designed for hands-free ball pickup and allows you to throw the ball three times further than you can if you just throw by hand. It's made of plastic in the US and conforms to Child Toys Safety Standard EN7-3. Comes with one large Chuckit! tennis ball.
The Mega Chuckit! Ball Launcher is one of those things that you don't absolutely have to have to make your dog happy but if you do, you may discover that you can give your dog a good workout in a shorter period of time without any muss or fuss. With a little practice, you'll be able to use the Chuckit! to send the ball 100' to 140' which for most people, is further than they could throw by hand.
With the Chuckit!, you never have to bend over to pick up the slobbery ball (not that there's anything wrong with that). Instead, using the ball claw of the Chuckit!, you can press on the ball on the ground and it will fit right back into place, ready for your next throw.
Each launcher comes with one Large (3") Chuckit! tennis ball. If your dog tears up tennis balls pretty quickly, try the
Chuckit! Ultra Balls. They are the best rubber balls for ball-aholics because they last and their orange color means that you can find them easily if your dog leaves them somewhere in the yard.
