Paula Royce and Terry Scheller of Sisters Pet Pics are full time professional pet photographers working in New Orleans and the southern Louisiana area. Their work is displayed in several dog supply and boutique venues in Covington, Louisiana. Paula says, “Photographing dogs in the studio and in the field has been a selfish endeavor. I do it because of the intimate communication between my subject and me that even the owner cannot have, or even understand, in that fleeting moment. The intimacy continues in the solitary procedure of processing an image. When it is just my subject and me I feel the same closeness that we strive for with our own companion animals. I feel privileged to have this opportunity.”

"If I could paint dogs, look at dogs, spend time with dogs and just think about dogs for most of my time, I would be a happy girl. These are my newest and I'm very excited about them. They are three dimensional wrap around images that are are 6" or 8" square, depending on breed. I plan to do as many great mug shots as I can accumulate from as many breeds as possible. The backgrounds will all be different contemporary colors that would go great together so that the images can be purchased alone or in groups that make an interesting bigger piece and can be put together in a variety of configurations."
Stephen Huneck (October 8, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio - January 7, 2010 in Littleton, NH) was a great American wood carving artist, furniture maker, painter and author who's artwork is primarily dog-themed. His work reflects his true understanding and love of dogs and we are proud to offer his work to other dog lovers. We consider Stephen Huneck to be the Patron Saint of Dogs and celebrate his life and his art.
